A Brief History of the Martian Army

Prior to the great math wars of 3121, the vile Saturnians and those rogue worlds allied with them defied mathematical law at every opportunity. They violated the commutative law of multiplication, the associative law of addition, and routinely divided by zero without a license.

High Commander Hypotenuse Prime formed the Martian Army with the following mandate: bring the Saturnians and their allies to heel and restore mathematical order in the universe. After the Martian Army’s success in the great math wars, a second mandate was added: spread knowledge of mathematics far and wide around the galaxy in order to have at the ready the next legion of mathematical warriors and explorers.
